Get Involved

Thanks to the support of our fantastic donors, fundraisers and volunteers, we have been able to support more than 9,000 women, men and children from the west, mid-west and midlands since 2012.

As a charity, we rely on this kindness and generosity to keep our lights on and our minibus on the road so we can reach out to those who need it most. No matter what option you choose, remember that every volunteer hour offered, or euro raised will leave a positive human impact on others in their time of need.

Corporate Charity of the Year

The SCCUL Sanctuary currently works with businesses both multinational and indigenous, who are willing to offer the time of their employees in selected areas as a means to support individuals or groups of disadvantaged people. Volunteers can donate their time in front-of-house, bring their own individual talents to the workshops, or give their time to develop particular features within the gardens and fenland.

Are you interested in finding out more about how the SCCUL Sanctuary could become your organisation’s Charity of the Year? To learn more about this  or perhaps to discuss a once-off volunteering opportunity for your business, please contact Will on 087 3466220 or email sanctuary@scculenterprises

Testimonial

“Thanks again for having us and for organising the lovely lunch – much needed after the hard graft! All 18 of the team had an immensely rewarding volunteer day – we were blessed with the weather, certainly made working outdoors all the more enjoyable. Many hands make light work and I know on leaving yesterday the progress that had been made was clearly visible so hopefully all that visit the Sanctuary notice the fruits of our labour.”

Interested in setting-up a choir in your workplace and/or take part in Choir Factor 2024?

If you would like to set-up a choir in your workplace or express an interest in future Choir Factors, please call Will on 087 3466220 or email admin@scculsanctuary.ie.

Why sing? Studies show that singing in the workplace is linked to improved wellbeing, morale and job performance.

Testimonial from Anita Mahony of ATU Voices:

“The Choir has made such a huge difference to ATU Galway and it was thanks to the SCCUL Sanctuary that we were able to get it off the ground in the first place. ATU Voices is primarily a staff wellbeing initiative. It has created a real buzz amongst the staff here. Practice has given the members something to look forward to and they are all smiling leaving it and new friendships are forming. Choir Factor is the perfect start for a choir’s career. Singing at Choir Factor was wonderful experience. We have self-belief now, as a choir, that anything is possible.”
