Each workshop on a Sanctuary Support Day is carefully structured to meet each group’s specific needs e.g. organic healing nutrition for those living with cancer; gentle-seated yoga for people with restricted mobility, drama workshops, music sessions for young people living with autism and remembering through music workshops for those living with Alzheimer’s.
The Sanctuary offers each person a reawakening of their sense of belonging in their community by making new connections with others experiencing similar adversities.

How do I arrange a therapy day for my group?
Contact the SCCUL Sanctuary to select a date and discuss times/workshops/food options to suit your groups needs.
Confirm final numbers and dietary requirements one week in advance.
The cost of the therapeutic support days are heavily subsidised through fundraising and renting the Sanctuary space for private hire. We ask each group member to make a contribution of between €20 and €30 towards the cost of the day. For those with limited financial means, this contribution can be waived.
